Q. Can Janus supply alternative detector lengths?

A. Yes. Janus can cut down the size of the detector and replace the firmware to operate the reduced number of beams provided that the number of beams is divisible by 4 i.e. 4, 8, 12, 16 beams etc. If longer detectors are required then Janus supply a 3ft extension kit that is designed to be mounted on top of a standard detector. This is for esthetics only and does not provide additional beams. If a seam in the lens cover is considered undesirable, then Janus offers a separate 10ft lens that can can be fitted to the standard detector and used with the extension kit. Note the extension kit and lens may be cut down to appropriate size on site. Detectors with greater detection heights are possible, please contact our sales department for details.
